Shortly after moving to Grand Cayman Island in 2015, I was introduced to the underwater natural world and the art of photography. Since then, I've done everything possible to spend more time underwater than physically on land.

My passion for the craft has taken me to all three of the Cayman Islands, the Bahamas, Tulamben, Lembeh and Vietnam where I've had the privilege of shooting some of the most incredible underwater wildlife. Initially, I learned from the team at Cathy Church to develop a solid understanding of the basics of underwater photography and the importance of paying attention to the small details to 'get the shot right'. Since then, I've worked with and met some absolutely incredible photographers who have taught me a variety of creative lighting techniques including fluorescent photography and snooting. I love seeing the growth in my work and although I've got a lot to learn, i'm proud of the progress I've made and can't wait to continue to develop my skills.

I remember every photograph I've ever taken; where I was, the conditions, who I was with and the behaviour of my subject. To me, the memories associated to each photograph and joy each one has brought me is equally as important as getting the image itself. When I look back on my portfolio, I've made some incredible memories, I've forged some strong friendships and I feel an awesome amount of appreciation that this is my passion, my hobby and my sport of choice.
